WHAT IF #16: What If You Don’t Obey God Now?

How long will you wait?
At Laban’s house,
working extra years for a blessing you could have walked into earlier?

On Jonah’s boat,
rocking in the storm of your own running?

Or in Peter’s denial,
warming your hands at the fire
while your purpose burns on the inside?

Alternate Ending

What if Jonah had obeyed immediately?
No storms.
No fish belly.
Just destiny,
on schedule.

What if Jacob had trusted God’s timing?
No manipulation,
no family feud,
just blessing without the baggage.

What if Peter had stayed close?
No shame spiral,
no tears of regret,
just courage for the cross.

Delays aren’t neutral.
Every detour has a cost.
Disobedience is expensive—
in time, in peace, in destiny.

Reality Check

What is your Nineveh?
What’s that one call you keep postponing—
waiting for a “better time” that may never come?
